In order to increase the population of Rescuers in the world, we propose teaching young people the value of empathy, thought and action through the medium of art as well as traditional didactic textual lesson plans.
It has been well documented in literature that empathy can be taught to all young people but most successfully to children under the age of eight. Empathy, in most of its many ramifications, may be one of the only traits that can have sustainable impact on the prevention of crimes against humanity in our future world.
With the advent of the internet, it is now possible to provide most areas of the globe with teaching modules that are directed at teachers. This has the added benefit of reaching, geometrically, tens of thousands of children.
